Our company ethos is very simple: we source high-quality local materials to create beautiful oak frame buildings and architectural components. We supply these products at a fair and reasonable price. Supporting local businesses wherever possible is important to us, and we always consider our impact on the environment.

We are a small family-run company dedicated to providing oak frame buildings, structures, and architectural components crafted from local materials to both the trade and the public.

While we strive to preserve the heritage of oak framing, we also recognize the need to operate as a business, which means it's not always practical to adhere strictly to traditional methods. However, we aim to keep our processes as traditional as possible when crafting our oak frame buildings. We utilize many traditional jointing methods for our architectural components, including mortise and tenon connections for all our post and beam joints, as well as the knee braces. For head plates, we employ a tenoned scarf joint or tenoned half lap joint, and for tie beams, we typically use a half lap dovetail joint or cog joint. We carefully dry fit our frames using local materials before they are packed for delivery to the site. To facilitate a quick and easy assembly on site, we mark each component clearly.
